{"id":298,"date":"2022-02-04T22:16:48","date_gmt":"2022-02-04T22:16:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/yourvoiceover.co.uk\/web\/?p=298"},"modified":"2022-02-04T23:00:19","modified_gmt":"2022-02-04T23:00:19","slug":"89-of-population-listen-to-the-radio","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/yourvoiceover.co.uk\/web\/2022\/02\/04\/89-of-population-listen-to-the-radio\/","title":{"rendered":"89% of the population listen to the radio"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Good news for radio this week (Feb 2022) and its reported in the latest RAJAR results that radio has an 89% reach of the population.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The results show that 49.5 million adults listen to live radio for 20.3 hours per week on average.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There was an increase to 48% (from 47.1% Q3 2021) for commercial radio with the BBC slipping from 50.9% to 49.9%<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A slight reduction for those listening on DAB as tis dropped from 43% to 42.5%, also dropping was the use of smart speakers who fell from 18.1% share to 16.9% Digital TV listening is up from 4.7% to 5.1% based on last quarter.
