Discovering Terry Walton may not one of his greatest achievements, but certainly one Phil Jones will be remembered for. This week after 20 years as editor of the BBC Radio 2, Jeremy Vine Show retires. Phil Jones started editing the slot with Jimmy Young in 1996.
During his time as producer he has pushed the show to the limits and broken many rules, but he has always remembered the golden rule that the listeners always come first.
Tim Collins will take over as editor and has worked on the show since Jeremy started.
